‘Jhamke fuli nakai ma Bulaki ..Yes pali ta ghar bara hola ki” a very famous song of Nepal itself tells the popularity of BULAKI (झुम्के बुलाकी) .
This is a traditional ornament of Nepal, especially worn by Limbu, Magar and Thami women. It is worn on nose which hangs at septum right down to the upper lip. It is also believed , in some cultures, that it helps to attain mokhsya after death. While it is rare to see women wearing it regularly these days but it is still the must have ornament in cultural programs, festivals and special occasions.
